A small studio, with real people behind it.
Founded in early September 2026, Amber Portraits is a portrait studio operated by Knotwise Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Our team looks after the technology, operations and customer support, reviews physical orders before they go into production and helps with questions after delivery.
How is my portrait created?
We create digital artwork from your reference photos in your chosen style. You can preview the result and request changes before paying. Our team reviews physical orders before they are sent for printing.
Can I see it before I pay?
Yes. Your preview is free, with no account or credit card needed. You can request changes, compare versions and approve your portrait before payment. You only order if you love the result.
What can I order?
Choose canvas, fine art paper or a high-resolution digital download. Canvas comes framed or unframed, with black and natural wood frame options. Physical artwork is professionally printed from the digital portrait, rather than painted by hand with oil paint. Physical orders are reviewed before printing.
What are the canvas and frames made from?
Our canvas printing partner, Gelato, specifies a cotton–polyester canvas fabric and pine or poplar outer frames. Amber Portraits offers unframed canvas and black or natural wood frames; wood grain and finish can vary by region.
